EPITALON 10MG
Epitalon Epitalon (also known as Epithalon or Epithalamin fragment) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) modeled after a pineal gland-derived peptide. Preclinical studies in animal models and cell cultures indicate that Epitalon may activate telomerase, promote telomere elongation, and exhibit geroprotective effects, including increased lifespan, reduced tumor incidence, and modulation of pineal gland function.[1][2] Key Research…

Key Research Areas
- Telomere Maintenance & Cellular Longevity – In human somatic cell cultures and aging mouse models, Epitalon has been shown to induce telomerase activity, elongate telomeres, reduce chromosomal aberrations, and extend proliferative potential beyond the Hayflick limit.[3][4]
- Geroprotection & Lifespan Extension – In rodent models (including SHR mice and Drosophila), chronic administration of Epitalon has been associated with increased mean and maximum lifespan, decreased biomarkers of aging, and improved survival without increased tumor development.[5][6]
- Tumor Suppression & Anticarcinogenic Effects – Preclinical studies in transgenic and inbred mouse strains demonstrate reduced spontaneous mammary tumor development, decreased metastasis incidence, and inhibitory effects on carcinogenesis.[7][8]
